I can’t say it helped me shoot better scores either way I used it. Some rounds I just start it and don’t even remember I tracked my stats until I got home, while other rounds I’ve been using the GPS features along the way for every shot. Either passively tracking everything while you play, and then looking at the stats at the end of your round, or keeping the app open during play and using the GPS for yardages of past and future shots. I’m only about a quarter of the way there. The ARCCOS Bluetooth grip cap has a battery that will eventually need to be replaced, but the company says they should last 40+ rounds. The caps weight and size are not a factor that impacts club performance in any way. Within 15 minutes of receiving the ARCCOS system, I was on the course using it. The app is super easy to install and fire up. 13 caps are the same and there is one more sensitive putter cap. The 14 Bluetooth grip caps are easy to install and will work on any club, as long as the ARCCOS app knows which club you have it attached to. They’re software which can sometimes be glitchy.The data isn’t 100% accurate but it’s fairly close.They’re fairly expensive and are only worth it if you’ll use them often.Knowing where your common misses are will give you a concrete thing to practice.Knowing how far you hit each club will really help your distance control and lower your scores.It’s been discontinued though so you might have a tough time finding one. The CT10 is compatible with Garmin TruSwing which will give more advanced club tracking stats like tempo, dynamic loft, shaft angle, and shaft lean. This will increase the cost by a couple of hundred dollars, which isn’t that ideal. The only way to get the GPS function with the CT10 is to pair it with one of the Garmin watches ( Garmin S20 or Garmin S60). The main difference between these club tracking sensors is that the Arccos system comes with a built-in GPS that will tell you the distance to any point on the hole using the app on your phone.
